| Terminology |
1 The website, the source for the latest Remember September media update, information, team- and contact info and downloads. The website is being updated and constructed by Shaped Illusions.
2 Forums, our discussion boards for our fans. Our forums offer the ability to discuss Remember September, Shaped Illusions, games and many more.
3 Developer. This person is actively participating in the development process of Remember September. A developer has priviliges such as (re)moving, editing and pinning topics. However, developers are not allowed to show power abuse on the forums. Developers are indicated with the RS Developer team icon.
4 Administrator / Management: This person is responsible of managing the team and Remember September. This person is allowed to change forums, looks and member accounts. Management is indicated with the
RS Management team icon.
5 Spam, posting 2 or more messages shortly after eachtoher, posting an irrelevant message, posting a small and unneccesary ("Yes", "I don't know") and deliberately dubble posting.
6 Smilies, small images which show emotions
7 Flame-posts, which are being dealt with a ban or other punishments. The following can be considered flaming: calling names, threats, insults, pointing fingers, ....

| 1 We strongly advise not to start a thread (topic) about every question or interest. Browse or search our forums to see if your question or interest has been discussed on our forums already.
2 Topic titles need to be specific. Unclear titles such as "Question" or "How about .." are not considered specific and will be edited or removed. A small sentence should be sufficient to express your subject. |

1 Before starting a new thread, use our forum search to make sure the subject has not been covered before.
2 Make sure you post in the right forum. Questions about Remember September should not belong in Job Applications forum.
3 Topic titles need to be specific. Unclear titles such as "Question" or "How about .." are not considered specific and will be edited or removed. A small sentence should be sufficient to express your subject.
4 In the startingpost of the thread, make sure you've included sufficient information concerning the topic subject. |
| Replying to topics |
| 1 Do not post irrelevant or unappropriate messages. These are considered spam.
2 Do not post with unneccesary content in old topics, also called gravedigging.
3 Show some respect towards other forum users.
4 No offensive, provoking or threatening postings
5 Stay on-topic.
6 Do not start flaming posts, and do not reply on such posts. Instead, contact a developer or administrator, who will deal with the offender(s).
7 No advertising. Official advertising can be arranged with Major Pain, Project Manager for Remember.
"Own websites" can be added in the user profile. |
| Extra information |
1 There will be severe punishments towards offenders of offensive postings towards other visitors, forum members or developers / management.
2 Do not pretend to be a moderator, developer or administrator. When problems occur, please contact a real moderator/developer/manager instead of solving the problem on your own. Pretending to be a staff member will be severely punished.
3 Several warnings announced by a forum staff member, may result in restricted forum access, restrictions on user account, or a ban or removal from our forums.
4 When a forum staff member has detected Illegal buying and selling of goods, a Manager will be contacted, who will contact the internet provider from the offender(s), including the evidence of the deals.
5 All mentioned rules and conditions are also valid for the private messaging system. If we receive complaints about the messages, its content and / or the sender, it will be dealt with by a forum staff member. Moderators / Developers / Managers have the right to view these private messages, when these messages violate the common forum rules. However, these messages will not be posted in public.
6 Shaped Illusions and its associates are allowed to add, remove, move or edit forums, topics and member accounts, without notifying. Also adjustments to these rules may take place, but will be announced when this occurs.
7 In case you disagree with a punishment, mod-action or general forum problems, you can contact our staff members by using the private messaging system or e-mail. The staff member(s) will have a look at the problem and try to solve it with you, and may adjust these factors whenever required.
