| Market Garden: Airborne Divisions |
| U.S. 82nd Airborne |
| |
The 82nd Airborne Division is one of the most famous army divisions in history. The 82nd was deployed in France during Operation Overlord (D-day), in Belgium during the Ardennes Offensive and Operation Market Garden in the Netherlands. During Operation Market Garden, the 82nd was lead by Brigadier General James Gavin. Under his command, the 82nd had to secure and hold the bridges at Nijmegen and Grave. |
| U.S. 101st Airborne |
|
The 101st Airborne Division is one of the most famous army divisions in history. The 101st was deployed in France during Operation Overlord (D-day), in Belgium during the Ardennes Offensive and Operation Market Garden in the Netherlands. During Operation Market Garden, the 101st was lead by General Maxwell Taylor. Under his command, the 101st had to secure and hold the bridges at Veghel, Son & Breugel and Best. |
| British 1st Airborne |
 |
After the success in Africa and Italy, The British 1st Airborne was being deployed in the Netherlands for Operation Market Garden. The British were also in command of this operation. Despite of the large number of paratroopers under lead of Major General Roy Urquhart, a lot of British were wounded or killed in the Arnhem and Oosterbeek region, the final and most important objective of the operation. |
| Polish 1st Airborne |
 |
The Polish 1st Independent Parachutist Brigade, under lead of General Sosabowski, was deployed near the Rhine for Operation Market Garden. Unfortunately, a lot of brave soldiers were killed in the landing, because the element of surprise was over. Their objective was to support the British troops and to assist them securing area near the Rhine and Arnhem region. Sounds like an easy task, but it doesn't nearly come to 'easy'. |

| Features: Medic System |
 |
The RS medic system allows a new challenge for the player that was not introduced in the original Call of Duty 2. While re-generative health has mixed views between the community, some like it and some don’t. We took both views into consideration and tried to come up with an equal solution. The RS medic system allows the player to re-generate some of their health but if you don’t take cover in time and try a ‘Rambo’ approach then you will find you are too badly wounded to re-generate and will need the help of the squad’s medic. |
| Features: Realism Camera Physics System (RCPS) |
The RS “Realism Camera Physics System” or “RCPS” adopts an original and unique way of what the player can see and focus on. Using real human physics of the eye, head and neck the player can now experience 1st person shooting like never before.
The camera system is designed to create the most real and lifelike feeling possible. With real time physics being studied and adopted (such as running, jumping, and war elements) being designed into what the player can see, this promises to change the way we play games. For ever ! |
| Features: Parajump |
| To be a real Airborne paratrooper, you need to descend from the sky with your parachute. In Remember September you will be able to jump from a C47 and start your battle from your landingzone. Watch your squadmates come down like angels from the sky. |
| Features: Civilian Interaction |
 |
Civilians
Dutch civilians are a huge value for the Allied Troops to locate enemy positions and ambushes. Dutch civilians have suffered the war for almost five years and are willing to cooperate with their liberators.
So pay attention private and don't shoot at first sight!
Resistance
Aside the civilians, there are also resistance members who have detailed information about troops in the area, artillery and other enemy intel. Resistance members are hard to locate, but sometimes they come towards you to help you out. Look for them! |
